Pathaan

The Indian government revokes Article 370, which accords Jammu and Kashmir special status, in 2019. A cancer-stricken Pakistani army officer named Qadir is affected by the news and intends to wreak revenge on India. He enters into a deal with Jim, the head of the covert terrorist organisation "Outfit X."

A unit called Joint Operation and Covert Research (JOCR) is established by vulnerable RAW agent Pathaan and his senior officer Nandini to take on agents who had previously been retired due to trauma or injury but still have a strong desire to serve their country. Pathaan and his crew accept Colonel Sunil Luthra's invitation to travel to Dubai to disrupt Outfit X's intentions to assault the President at a scientific conference, but soon learn that their true goal is to abduct two people.

At the headquarters, Luthra reveals that Jim was a former RAW agent who faked his death in order to exact revenge against his nation for allowing his wife and unborn child to be killed by Somalian terrorists years earlier. Pathaan finds out the codename "Raktbeej" and that the murdered people in Dubai were ex-soldiers and secret operatives, and that their money was sent to a Pakistani doctor in Spain named Rubina Mohsin. He arrives in Spain and is apprehended by Jim's men, during which he discovers that Rubina was an ISI agent in the past. Rubina attacks Jim's men as he leaves his hiding place and then flees with Pathaan.

Later, Rubina says that Jim is in Moscow looking for Raktbeej after he stole it. Before Jim arrives in Moscow, the pair takes the Raktbeej. In order to steal the Raktbeej, Pathaan and Rubina are able to enter the tower where it is kept. However, Pathaan is betrayed by Rubina, who then arranges for his arrest. It is revealed that Jim actually took advantage of Pathaan's susceptibility to feeling in order to have him steal Raktbeej for himself. Pathaan is transported to prison by rail but is then abandoned and killed by inmates. Avinash "Tiger" Singh Rathore arrives to save him while he fights the convicts, as Nandini learns through Morse code. Police officers and a convoy are thwarted by Pathaan and Tiger

Three years later, Pathaan visits Africa where he catches Jim's goon Raafe and then flees. Later, he runs into Nandini in his refuge in Russia and tells her about Jim buying two Saber missiles, at which point Nandini tells her where Rubina is in Paris. Pathaan meets Rubina, who informs him that Jim intends to spread the Raktbeej virus with the reluctance of Dr. Sahani. The Raktbeej is a smallpox-designed mutant virus that will kill a person within a few hours. She also admits that she felt bad about betraying Pathaan because she was unaware that her nation would prepare such horrific atrocities. When Pathaan and his squad attack Jim's lab after Rubina exposes its location, they manage to recover one orb that holds the virus, but they lose the second orb in the process.

To create a vaccine against the virus, Pathaan and his colleagues travel to the Indian Institute of Contagious Diseases (IICD), but before they arrive, Jim phones to inform them that the virus has already spread throughout the lab due to the orb. Pathaan is desperate to catch Jim after the infected scientists and Nandini perish in the lab. To stop the virus from spreading, an explosion is used to completely demolish the lab. Jim issues a 24-hour deadline for the removal of Indian military from Kashmir. When Pathaan questions Raafe about the missile's location, he discovers that it is in Afghanistan. Pathaan, Rubina, and his group invade Jim's base after tricking his soldiers into a trap, where Rubina kills Qadir before setting off the trap.

In the meantime, Rubina discovers that the Raktbeej is not in the missile but rather is in a passenger-bound aircraft that is about to land in Delhi. She informs Pathaan, who discovers that Jim is in possession of the detonator. When the plane is about to land in Delhi, Luthra calls the air traffic control to stop it. Pathaan and Jim engage into a struggle in the cabin, and despite getting stabbed by Jim, Pathaan steals the detonator, deactivates Raktbeej, saves the passengers, and throws Jim off a cliff to his death. Following this, Nandini receives a posthumous award for her valour while Pathaan is reinstated and becomes the head of JOCR.
